- How much notice do you require for orders?
We will attempt to meet your last minute requirements however; some menu items do require at least 24-48 hours notice.
- How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed online, by email to info@corporateplatters.com.au or you can ring us on (08) 82340056 and one of our friendly staff will be able to assist you.
- How do I request a quote?
For quotes please email us to info@corporateplatters.com.au and we will get back to you within 24 hours or alternatively ring us on (08) 82340056 and we will be happy to assist.
All quotes are valid for 14 days and may be subject to change.
- What are your trading terms and what form of payments do you accept?
Our trading terms are 7days but we do offer flexibility as we do understand payments through account departments can sometimes take 30days.
We accept payments by Cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
- Are disposable plates, cups and napkins included?
With all our orders we supply disposable plates, cups and napkins at no extra charge.
- Is food prepared fresh?
Most of our food is prepared in our commercial kitchen with sandwiches and rolls prepared fresh every day, we source our products as much as possible from local suppliers.
- Is catering available on weekends?
Catering is available until 2pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays. We can come up with a list of hot foods that can be reheated later and can be delivered on a Saturday morning.
- How do I get a price list?
Prices can be obtained by going to our website and registering online which will give you access to all our prices and allow you to order online. You can also email us at info@corporateplatters.com.au and we will be happy to email you our current menu.
- Do you charge for delivery?
There is no delivery charge to the city or about a 5km radius from our premises in Torrensville. Delivery fees outside of these areas may apply depending on the distance and size of the order, we will advise of delivery fees when you place an order.
- Do you have a minimum order?
We can cater for small groups, we do have a minimum $50.00 order which can be flexible depending on the delivery location.
- If I make an order for different times in the same day do you make multiple deliveries?
Yes, we do make multiple deliveries on the same day unless it is a small order with cold food, you have a refrigerator to be able to store the food and are happy for us to deliver together, we will make one delivery.
- How early and late do you deliver?
Our business Hours are: 7.00am – 4.300pm (Mon – Fri)
We can deliver anytime from 6.30am and as late as 6pm.
- How far do you deliver?
It will depend on the size of the order but as a guide we will deliver around Holden Hill to the east, Darlington to the south, Port Adelaide to the west and Mawson Lakes to the north.
- Do you collect your platters?
We are using disposable catering boxes for orders but food delivered on platters or if we supply any other equipment, they will be collected within two days of your function. If platters or equipment are lost or damaged a fee will apply to cover costs. (Customer will be notified accordingly.)
- We only have a small kitchen with no heating facilities, do you deliver all hot food hot?
Yes, all hot food is delivered hot as close as possible to the time of consumption.
- Can items in the suggested menus be removed or changed?
All items in our suggested menus can be changed to meet requirements and budgets, price might vary depending on the items to be replaced, email us at info@corporateplatters.com.au with your changes and an updated quote will be issued.
- Do I have to choose one of your suggestions or can I choose my own items?
No you do not have to choose one of our suggestions, You can choose any items from our list and create your own menu.
- Do you send a confirmation when I place an order?
You will receive a confirmation when you place an order. The confirmation will have details of your order, date, delivery location and delivery times. Always check you order in particular the dates and delivery times and let us know immediately if there are any errors.
- Can I make last minute changes to my order?
Confirmed orders and quantities can only be changed before 3pm on the previous working day.
- If I need to cancel my order when is the latest I can do it and are there any cancelation fees applicable?
Orders can be cancelled on the same day but any food that has already been prepared you will be charged accordingly. Orders over $500.00 will incur a 10% cancelation fee if not notified within 24 hours of event.
- Are you a preferred caterer with any function centres?
Yes, we are preferred caterers at the Education Development Centre in Hindmarsh and The Flinders University Building at 182 Victoria Square Adelaide.
- How reliable are you with delivering on time?
We have a fleet of five delivery vehicles and we also use reliable couriers for deliveries. Orders with all cold food will usually be delivered earlier to allow us to be able to deliver hot food orders as close as possible to the time required. We pride ourselves on delivering on time but there are times where unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that we might run slightly late.
- How can I have confidence in using your company for our catering requirements?
We have been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years and Corporate Platters was established in 2002.
